Peoplefluent Enhances User Experience with VMS Version 6.0

Peoplefluent, a provider of talent management systems, today launched the latest version of its Vendor Management System, VMS 6.0. Complementing the company's Recruitment Management System, Peoplefluent VMS 6.0 features intuitive navigation, dashboards with drag-and-drop widgets, and a single sign-on approach. VMS 6.0 also includes a new candidate comparison feature that lets users select and compare candidates in side-by-side views based on user-defined selection criteria.

The added features of Peoplefluent's VMS 6.0 reflect the growing demand for integrated talent platforms. One of the major trends shaping the talent management systems market is the demand for solutions that identify performance patterns and workforce gaps and risks within big data, in addition to performing other human resource functions, all in a single product.

Huge software companies like SAP and Oracle are taking notice and have been quickly buying up vendors to fill their end-to-end offerings. Earlier this year, SAP acquired SuccessFactors, a provider of human capital management software, followed by Oracle, which acquired Taleo, another talent management software maker.

Through its Vendor Management applications, Peoplefluent (which acquired learning management system Strategia in January) offers customers greater visibility into their extended workforce, including contingent and contract workers, as well as an organization's services procurement spend, allowing organizations to make better decisions regarding budgets, compliance, risk, and efficiency.

"With VMS 6.0, the user experience supports stakeholder collaboration, including line-of-business employees, engagement managers, and senior management," said Tom Tisdale, senior vice president at Peoplefluent, in a statement. "Our ability to manage talent acquisition and integration in a single solution suite, combined with VMS intelligent analytics, rate benchmarking, and ability to integrate with other key human resource management functionality, furthers Peoplefluent's vision of harnessing the power of talent."

VMS 6.0 also provides a global solution designed to address the Agency Workers Regulations, a series of laws that protect the rights of agency workers in the United Kingdom. Designed to support U.K. and European obligations, the solution's new configuration settings and fields offer program management teams the appropriate level of information to meet various implementation styles. By enabling these features, organizations can measure contingent worker length in service by job function, capture permanent employee equivalent numeration packages, and more.
