PeopleSoft has released Workforce Performance Solutions (WPS), an integrated suite comprising PeopleSoft's Enterprise Portal and HRMS Portal Pack, ePerformance, Enterprise Learning Management, eDevelopment, and key components of PeopleSoft's Human Resources application. WPS is designed to help customers tie together all the elements of organizational development, while tracking the impact of investments in training, employee development, and performance on an organization's operating and financial results. WPS also enables organizations to deliver the appropriate training to ensure compliance with current government and legislative requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Series 7, and OSHA. Sane Solutions, developers of the NetTracker line of Web-analytics software, and Best Software announced Tuesday that Sane has joined the SalesLogix Technology Partner program to add NetTracker online-behavior intelligence to SalesLogix. Sales forces using SalesLogix will now have the ability to view their sales contacts' online behavior, loaded from the NetTracker Web data warehouse, within the SalesLogix user interface for enhanced customer intelligence, according to the companies.
Marketplace Software this week launched e-manage, an enterprise management suite aimed at smaller businesses with tighter budgets. The suite is priced at $12,500 for 10 users and $1,250 for each additional packet of five users. E-manage includes all these modules: company/contact manager, project manager, sales force automation, installation manager, service/warranty manager, commissions, asset manager, human resources, employee Web interface, customer Web interface, bulk mail/email, point-and-click analysis tools, and e-manage administrator. Alterian has released Alterian Modeling, allowing customers to analyze their customer data and predict customer behavior, which Alterian says provides for more targeted and effective customer communications. ChoiceStream, a provider of personalization solutions, has launched the MyBestBets Personalization Platform. The technology is designed to enable companies to increase consumer loyalty and drive sales by automatically delivering the most relevant content and products to each consumer. America Online, the first licensee of the platform, has successfully deployed it in its entertainment and shopping areas. It enables members to indicate their preferences for movies, television, music, retail products, and more, and then tailors the content and products consumers see to their individual interests.
