New Product Spotlight: April 30

Pivotal has shipped Pivotal 5, the first full-suite release from the company in three years. Designed as a complete suite for the mid-market, the product aims to meet certain basic mid-market needs, according to Jesper Andersen, executive vice president of products at Pivotal. "One is the flexibility of the product," he says. "Second is that is must be a robust suite with the ability to bring customers in with a single module and allow them to move to other modules as needed. Third is that it needs to be easy to implement. We feel that Pivotal 5 addresses all of those needs." Sprint has signed a comarketing agreement with Gryphon Networks to deliver end-to-end nationwide Do-Not-Call (DNC) compliance solutions for outbound telemarketers. The solutions, which utilize Gryphon DNC compliance applications and Sprint voice services, help businesses to automate compliance efforts for all state and federal DNC statutes, while maximizing utilization of voice channels and reducing telemarketing costs. "Complying with several different laws can be complicated to manage, and maintaining separate sets of customer data just to be in compliance can be costly and inefficient," Judy Train, director of marketing at Sprint, said in a statement. "Sprint voice services, combined with Gryphon's DNC compliance applications help business customers overcome this challenge so that they can avoid tough penalties, while saving time and money."
