Jive Unveils 'The Jive Social Network'

Jive Software announced yesterday the Jive Social Network, the first industry partner program that brings together social business leaders across advisory, technology, and consulting disciplines into a unified global ecosystem. With this program, Jive is enabling enterprises to accelerate their social business adoption by providing a single point of access to talent and technology.

The Jive Social Network gives customers proven expertise and technology to drive breakthrough outcomes and avoid expensive mistakes or failed experiments. They can select Jive-certified strategic social business solutions that best fit their goals, industry requirements and deployment needs. Partners can tap into Jive's knowledge base of best practices, have access to leading developers, and get advanced visibility into Jive's product roadmap.

"Social Business is transforming the way business is done," said Christopher Morace, senior vice president of business development at Jive. "Today we are introducing the new way to partner. We are bringing together the top leaders across the social business landscape to give customers unparalleled access to the deepest expertise and latest innovation available to best position them for success."

The Jive Social Network includes Jive Alliance, Jive Apps, and Jive Strategic Technology Partners.

Jive Alliance Partners include large global management consultants who provide strategic advisory, change management, custom services, products and solutions on the Jive platform, including industry or vertical specialization. They include global leaders such as Accenture, CSC, Infosys, Logica, and SapientNitro. Jive's Alliance Partners also include select leading regional and boutique consultancies whose focused areas of expertise and accessibility can be matched to any clients' unique requirements.

Jive App Partners share Jive's mission to change the way that work gets done in the enterprise. Using the APIs within the Jive Apps Framework, Jive Apps Partners can immediately make their solutions social and have direct access to millions of enterprise users. Through the Jive Apps Market, these partners can offer subscription plans for a single employee or an entire enterprise.

Jive Apps Partners include Appirio, Box, Gliffy, Jive Social Media Engagement, Lingotek, RoundPegg, Rypple, SalesCrunch, Spigit, SurveyGizmo, and Tungle.

"The Jive Social Network is a win-win situation for customers, Jive and Jive's partners, including Rypple," said David Stein, co-CEO at Rypple. "The Jive Apps Market is the quickest way for clients to adopt cloud applications through one-click activation into the leading social business platform, immediate visibility to apps your colleagues are using, and enterprise line of sight into adoption."

Strategic Technology Partners are best-of-breed technology vendors and solution providers that extend Jive's core platform capabilities through deep integration, Jive Connects, and Jive APIs. Strategic Technology Partners include Alfresco, Akamai, and Appirio.

"We are thrilled to be part of Jive's global partner program," said John Newton, chief technology officer at Alfresco. "Social business systems like Jive are enabling new ways of collaboration in the enterprise, and users are adopting them quickly. Enterprises can have the best of both worlds: by combining Jive's best-of-breed social business technology with Alfresco's best of breed ECM, enterprise content becomes both social and organized, resulting in more effective employees and well-managed enterprise content."

"The social business market is one of the newest and fastest-growing sectors in our practice, where the rules of engagement are being redefined in real time. The expanded Jive partner ecosystem will benefit the entire social business industry, and in particular, customers," said Steve Warner, head of customer intelligence and business information management at Logica UK. "It will provide centralized access to industry-leading social business services and solutions across the entire adoption lifecycle: from strategy, requirements gathering and software selection, to implementation and solution customization."
