Jitbit Launches Live Chat Software
The company supplements its help desk offering with online chat functionality.

Jitbit Software this week launched Jitbit Live Chat, an online live support app that can be integrated into any existing Web site.

The live chat tool enables businesses to communicate with their Web site visitors in real time, offer instant assistance, and answer queries. The application is fully Web-based and lets businesses manage multiple chats simultaneously, review customer chat histories, and manage operator permissions.

To start using Jitbit Live Chat, companies need only to add a couple of lines of code to their Web sites. There's no need to install anything because the software-as-a-service tool works on Jitbit's cloud servers.

"We've been in the customer support software market for years, and our helpdesk tools have been pretty successful," said Max Al Farakh, co-founder of Jitbit, in a statement. "But there was just one thing missing from our product lineup. And now we are very pleased to announce Live Chat - an app that enables helpdesk-agents to answer customer requests instantly."
