Comm100 Live Chat Android App Upgraded

Comm100, a provider of customer service and communication solutions, has enhanced the Android app for its Comm100 Live Chat solution with a redesigned user interface with improved aesthetics and more user-friendly functions.

Users new to Comm100 Live Chat previously had to sign up via the Web version. The upgrade enables them to complete signups directly through the Android app. After signing up, users can use the app's new step-by-step wizard to learn how to get started and start chatting immediately. A new visitor simulation feature presents several test chat experiences so operators become accustomed to the app layout and functions.

Before this upgrade, push notifications were only available for new chats and new messages while the app is running in the background. This upgrade adds push notifications to alert users to the presence of any new visitors and when any chat session has ended.

"Our solutions succeed in the marketplace because they are easy to use and accessible to a wide range of users," said Kevin Gao, founder and CEO of Comm100, in a statement. "With this upgrade we provide customer service managers with even more reasons to enable staff to conduct secure and professional customer communications through Android devices. It delivers the same fast and streamlined performance as our desktop version with the added benefits of mobility and efficient operation."
