CRM Magazine Announces Its 2003 CRM Leader Awards

CRM magazine revealed the winners of its 2003 CRM Leaders awards during DCI's Customer Relationship Management Conference & Exposition at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. CRM magazine's 2003 CRM Leader Awards recognize superior performance in three areas: ROI excellence in customer companies, individual achievement, and vendor leadership. The CRM Elite award showcases the best recent results and ROI among CRM-user companies. The Influential Leaders award spotlights CRM executives who have left an indelible mark on either the industry or their company this past year. CRM Market Leaders ranks the top vendors in five categories. Many of the industry's top customer-company and vendor executives took part in the ceremony, which was followed by an interactive panel discussion. During the panel CRM Elite winners and Influential Leader customer-company executives shared their success secrets with the audience. This year's award winners are:
The CRM Elite award recognizes excellence in getting both hard- and soft-ROI results from CRM initiatives. CRM magazine judged efforts in six categories. The winners in each category: Enterprise suite CRM: Canada Post Mid-market CRM: ACME Truck Line Customer service: MyFamily.com SFA: Verifications Inc. Analytics: UPMC Health Plan Channel management/PRM: LexisNexis Influential Leaders reveals those who, by their words and actions, have had a significant impact either within their company or on the industry over the past year. D., president and CEO, SAS Institute Adam Klaber, partner, global and Americas CRM Leader, IBM Business Consulting Services, IBM Denis Pombriant, vice president and managing director of CRM, Aberdeen Group David Thacher, general manager of CRM, Microsoft Business Solutions, Microsoft 2003 Influential Leaders: Ones to Watch Brent Frei, cofounder and CEO, and Mary Reeder, CTO, Onyx Paul Stockford, president and chief analyst, Saddletree Research 2003 Influential Leaders: Customers David Frady, executive vice president and commercial products and services division manager, Hibernia National Bank Mike Overly, vice president of Marketing, Hewlett-Packard There are also a number of executives who have dedicated a significant portion of their careers to the industry. Their work has helped create the stronghold CRM now has on business. To recognize their efforts CRM magazine created the CRM Hall of Fame.
