Broadview Connects Cloud-Based Phone System with CRM

Broadview Networks, a provider of cloud-based business communication services, has launched the CRM Connector for OfficeSuite, its cloud-based business phone system.

The new CRM Connector integrates OfficeSuite with Salesforce.com and any other telephony application programming interface (TAPI)-enabled CRM application to provide businesses with a fully integrated communications solution.

With OfficeSuite and CRM Connector, the record of the person calling instantly appears on the screen, providing important account and contact information before the call is even answered. Other features include click-to-call and increased tracking and reporting as calls are automatically logged by contact and account.

"The OfficeSuite system by itself helps organizations improve productivity and flexibility. Integrating with Salesforce.com and other CRMs takes it to a higher level," said Jeff Blackey, Broadview’s senior vice president of marketing, in a statement. "When a sales or support professional has all of the data they need in front of them, automatically, they can quickly focus on their goals instead of wasting time and money navigating systems."
