IN THE NEWS Priceline.com has relaunched as a one-stop Internet travel service for bargain hunters looking for airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars, and packages. The company decided to pursue a multiproduct travel search engine after introducing a retail airline tickets service in 2004. That product helped priceline.com increase its full-year gross travel booking by 52 percent, according to the company. NEW PRODUCTS StayinFront has announced the addition of data quality services to its StayinFront Visual Elk CRM solution. The newly branded services will provide customers with a turnkey solution to improve, standardize, augment, and further leverage the informational assets contained in its proprietary databases. Yoh, a provider of talent and outsourcing services, has introduced Yoh HR Solutions, a talent-based recruiting-process outsourcing service that allows businesses to quickly and efficiently hire the best talent. Yoh HR Solutions provides a mix of services that allow customers to outsource some or all of the recruiting process, including needs assessment, requisition management, advertising, recruitment, interviewing, and program management. CUSTOMER WINS Laurentian Bank has selected Unica's Affinium marketing software to maximize its customer-centric focus by delivering targeted and relevant offers. RealDialog has announced that Ford Motor Company will deploy RealDialog Enterprise to automatically answer service, warranty, and recall questions for dealer service personnel. WebSideStory, a provider of on-demand Web analytics, has announced that Knight Ridder Digital has selected WebSideStory's flagship service, HBX, to measure visitor activity across its Web sites. ON THE MOVE Online media firm InfoSearch Media has announced that former Ask Jeeves COO Claudio Pinkus has joined the company's board of directors. Pinkus brings 25 years of strategic technology management experience, with specific expertise in the search engine market.
