YouMail Launches YouRang for Phone Lead Generation

YouMail has launched YouRang, a new service to capture and respond to phone leads, specifically for small businesses that rely on inbound phone-based lead traffic. Currently available through an invite-only beta, this new solution automatically answers, captures, and responds to inbound phone leads whenever someone isn't available to pick up the call.

"Big businesses have the luxury of capturing every client call through massive call centers," said Alex Quilici, CEO of YouMail, in a statement. "However, there are over 25 million very small businesses that must answer all of their own calls, and most of them are too busy to pick up the phone every time it rings. This leaves them with the only option of letting the call go to their traditional voicemail, which is an ineffective way to capture phone-based leads and respond to them in real time."

With YouRang callers are personally greeted and given options to leave a message or try to connect to a pre-selected alternative number. Any message left by the caller is transcribed, delivered, and stored. The caller is automatically texted links to the relevant Web site and a form to capture additional information. All captured information about leads and the time they called is emailed and stored. Reports and analytics on all incoming calls and messages can be viewed via desktop or smartphone.

"More and more small businesses publish a variety of phone numbers to use on advertisements or other channels to generate client leads. However, that mechanism falls short when no one answers the phone," Quilici said. "Our new product provides a solution to capture and respond to these leads even when you are unable to get to the call."
