Splice Software, provider of a proactive customer communications solution, is partnering with Majesco, a provider of core software, consulting, and services for insurance business transformation, to enable insurers to proactively interact with customers.
Through Splice's integration with Majesco's DigitalConnect platform, when home device sensors (smart thermostats, smoke detectors, and other sensors) detect an issue or anomaly, insurers can now send personalized, interactive, real-time notifications through voice, SMS, email, or social channels to their customers and their preferred repair and maintenance specialists to rectify the issue. The partnership helps insurers work on risk mitigation and claims reduction while interacting with customers in a personalized fashion that takes into account permissions and preferences.
Splice's integration with Majesco's DigitalConnect is initially focused on billing and claims--the most common customer touchpoint for insurers. Additional plans for further use cases are in development.
"Enviable customer experience is a must- have in all insurance service segments, and by working in partnership with Splice, we will be able to offer our customers the next level of truly personalized service for their customers," said Ed Ossie, chief operations officer at Majesco, in a statement.
"Splice is obsessed with customer experience and engagement, and keeping the customer informed is a big part of that," said Tara Kelly, CEO of Splice Software, in a statement. "Preference and choice together with accurate and relevant data are key. Our integration with Majesco's DigitalConnect platform is expected to give insurance carriers a simple and secure way to engage their customers. We think that's something to get excited about."
