Online survey software company QuestionPro has acquired micro survey platform RapidEngage. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

QuestionPro's acquisition of RapidEngage will add to its feedback management platform, which includes tools for the creation, distribution, and analysis of surveys, as well as provides a platform for polling, tablet-based mobile research, and data visualization. This acquisition will strengthen QuestionPro's offering by implementing RapidEngage's unique Web site feedback and engagement technology, which helps drive Web site engagement by targeting Web site visitors with the right engagement messaging at the right time.

RapidEngage collects customer insight and increases Web site engagement for companies in the form of signups, conversions, page views, sales, or revenue. They do this by improving survey completion and abandonment rates by offering surveys that can be completed in 30 seconds or less.

"Driving better Web site engagement and feedback is critical for the success of any business with an online presence," said QuestionPro CEO Erik Koto in a statement. "The team at RapidEngage has built a great product, and I'm particularly excited to extend this offering to our QuestionPro customers."
