Pegasystems will acquire its partner in Turkey, Ultima IT. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the fourth quarter. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Ultima is a provider of consulting and services for developing strategic business applications and IT Infrastructure in the Turkish market. The vast majority of Ultima's business is based on Pega's CRM applications and the Pega 7 platform. The two companies share several large customers in the financial services and telecommunications industries.

"We have had a great relationship with Pegasystems and believe strongly in the benefits of Pega's software. We are excited to be a part of Pegasystems and believe that this will allow us to continue the momentum we've built working with major customers such as Isbank and Vodafone," said Sinan Çilesiz, general manager of Ultima, in a statement.

"We are delighted to be embarking on this exciting and promising journey as part of Pegasystems," added Bogaç Giritlioglu, director of Ultima, in a statement.

Pegasystems' last acquisition occurred in June when the company acquired Profeatable, a provider of collaboration and co-browsing technology.
