Nexmo, provider of a cloud communications platform, and Marketo have paired up to connect brands with customers via chat applications. Marketo customers will be able to conduct marketing campaigns via chat applications like WeChat, Line, and Viber without having to leave the Marketo platform. Nexmo also joins the Marketo LaunchPoint partner ecosystem.

The integration is powered by Nexmo's Chat App API.

With Nexmo's Marketo integration, brands can seamlessly include chat apps in their omnichannel campaigns.

"Marketo offers a complete platform for marketers to engage their customers everywhere, and we are excited to extend that engagement capability to the massive audiences of chat applications," said Mike Stocker, director of business development at Marketo, in a statement. "Marketo is thrilled to have Nexmo as an integrated partner in our LaunchPoint Partner Ecosystem."

"When we launched the Nexmo Chat App API, we set out to help platforms connect their customers to the chat apps in a simple, streamlined way," said Chris Moore, chief revenue officer at Nexmo, in a statement. "We are thrilled to help Marketo realize its vision of empowering brands to engage with their customers wherever they are by harnessing the power of the chat app channel."
