MarcomCentral Integrates with Lumentus Social

MarcomCentral, a provider of cloud-based marketing asset management and variable data publishing solutions, has integrated its products with social media platform Lumentus Social to enable businesses to grow their social networks by empowering sales teams, channel partners, distributors, and franchisees with access to approved, branded social content. With the integration, users can automate and streamline content sharing to Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook.

"MarcomCentral already provides customizable, approved marketing content for marketing organizations via our cloud-based platform, so it made sense that social content be made available in the same way," said Coleman Kane, CEO and president of MarcomCentral, in a statement. "For our customers, providing brand-compliant yet tailored social messaging is a big challenge; that's why we're excited to announce the Lumentus Social integration that solves these problems."

Within the platform, administrators can share on behalf of end users who have connected their accounts to MarcomCentral. Administrators can also set up groups in the system to create social blasts with unique content and imagery aimed at specific target audiences.  In addition, users can access approved social content created by administrators and post to their own accounts.

Features of the integration include a template-based system for simple content customization, approval workflows and scheduling, automatic character count adjustments based on social channel, live preview, and self- and group publishing options.

"We consistently see missed opportunities within companies to grow their social reach through employee advocacy," said Adam Selig, managing partner of Lumentus Social, in a statement. "When the corporation posts a single tweet, the reach is limited; however when that tweet is shared with multiple departments and sent to their channels, your reach grows exponentially and so does your brand."

The Lumentus Social integration will be generally available in early August.
