Jive Software Names New CEO

Jive Software today announced that Elisa Steele has been named CEO. In addition, Steele has been appointed to the Jive board of directors.

Prior to her promotion to president in November, Steele served as Jive's executive vice president of marketing and products, and previously chief marketing officer. Her background includes more than 20 years of leadership experience in high technology, including executive management roles at Microsoft, Skype, Yahoo, and NetApp.

Our mission is clear: We empower brands to create valued relationships with their customers, and we enable people to work better together using simple, smart, beautiful products," Steele said in a statement. "I look forward to working with the leadership team and all the Jivers around the world to execute our plan and deliver sustainable, profitable growth."
