Experian Data Quality Updates Its Pandora Platform

Experian Data Quality has expanded Experian Pandora with a number of enhancements that include improved operational governance through alerts and logs, enhanced graphical navigation, and Big Data connectivity. These developments are designed to help business users to investigate their data, assess challenges, improve errors, and control information over time.

"Experian Data Quality offers a series of data quality tools for business users that deliver a quick time to value," said David Northridge, senior vice president of global product strategy at Experian Data Quality, in a statement. "We want to enable quality, actionable data when it is required and proactively propose relevant added value. Experian Pandora was designed to be a useful and adaptable tool for a variety of data management use cases, from data migrations to data governance and data transformation. These new enhancements add to this vision and allow for even greater control over data."

New proactive alerts and audit logs allow users to monitor data over time and receive alerts when erroneous information is found. Users can track the history of information to develop context around data. Interactive graphical visualization enables users to navigate and understand the information in their systems, A native Hadoop connector allows Experian Pandora to profile, monitor, standardize, and transform Big Data.

Experian Pandora also offers robust profiling functionality. It can improve information through cleansing, standardization, and enrichment capabilities and help users control data over time through proactive monitoring and reporting.
