Ditto Labs Partners with Tickr for Photo Analytics

Ditto Labs, a provider of photo analytics for social media, and Tickr, providers of a marketing performance management platform, have entered into a partnership that will give marketers real-time performance metrics for social media photos.

Ditto's computer vision technology scans user-generated photos on social media and measures the occurrence of products, logos. and affinities. It identifies brands, regardless of whether the brand has been referred to in text.

"The growth of popular platforms like Instagram and Snapchat illustrates that people are communicating by sharing photos, often without any accompanying text," said David Rose, Ditto Labs' CEO, in a statement. “Personal affinities and product preferences appear in these shared photos and can help provide a holistic view of how people engage with brands across the entire Web. Ditto's proprietary computer vision can measure each time that happens, and through our partnership with Tickr, clients who have come to rely on their real-time visualizations can now include photo analytics in their market performance metrics."

"By combining the powerful photo search engine capabilities of Ditto Labs with Tickr's real-time cloud-based open data platform, brand marketers will now be able to access the most up-to-date information available about their customers, competition, and the market," said Tyler Peppel, CEO and founder of Tickr, in a statement. "Ditto Labs processes millions of photos daily. Tickr unifies data streams from internal business-critical applications like Web analytics, CRM, ERP, marketing automation platforms, as well as external sources from social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and more. Together, they offer the most complete solution available for tracking a brand/s presence across the Web."
