CallTrackingMetrics Launches HIPAA Compliance Program

CallTrackingMetrics, a provider of call tracking software, has released a set of features that enable healthcare companies to comply with the HIPAA/HITECH regulations while leveraging the critical data collected by CallTrackingMetrics for their marketing and sales operations.

CallTrackingMetrics' software enables healthcare providers to attribute calls back to particular advertising campaigns, to monitor the performance of sales and support staff, and to route calls to their teams. It can also record, transcribe, route, document, and report on everything going on in and around phone calls.

The HIPAA-compliant features include options such as encrypted call recordings, dedicated storage, secure notifications, detailed logging, and various levels of access controls to ensure that only authorized users are able to access information about calls.

"Regulatory changes have dramatically changed the landscape for many healthcare providers, and these changes have made advertising tracking and performance management critical to success. For a lot of providers, their advertising costs are skyrocketing, and they are having to report on performance in a way they haven’t had to before," said Laure Fisher, chief operations officer at CallTrackingMetrics, in a statement.
