Broadview Networks Launches OfficeSuite Connector for Salesforce

Broadview Networks, a provider of cloud-based business communications and information technology services, has launched its OfficeSuite Connector on the Salesforce.com AppExchange.

OfficeSuite Connector seamlessly integrates Broadview's OfficeSuite Phone system with Salesforce.com, providing organizations with an enhanced view of customer and employee activity.

When a call comes into the OfficeSuite Phone system for a user of Salesforce.com, the OfficeSuite Connector immediately displays the details of the caller, giving employees immediate access to both contact and lead details. While on calls, employees can add notes to contact records and log the calls. The application also enables employees to click to call any phone number or use the integrated dial pad within Salesforce.com.

The OfficeSuite Connector is installed into an organization's Salesforce.com account and lives in the cloud. It integrates with every phone available in the OfficeSuite Phone service, including a wide variety of desk phones, cordless phones, softphones for Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh computers, and smartphone apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.>

"Salesforce is a robust, industry-leading platform, and we have worked hard to help businesses close the phone call activity gap in their datasets," said Stephen Farkouh, Broadview's executive vice president of information systems, in a statement. "For most companies, the desk phone is still the preferred tool for connecting with potential and existing customers. With the OfficeSuite Connector, we have made the simple act of making and taking customer calls from virtually any device faster and easier for employees, while also giving management a new tool for tracking activity reliably."
